4.Rashtrapati Bhavan
		The President’s official residence in the vicinity of the Parliament House of New Delhi was built during the British rule in India.

		This structure was built in the memory of the soldiers who perished in the First World War. An eternal flame is placed underneath it in their tribute.

6.Lotus Temple
		One of the magnificent pieces of modern architecture, the Lotus Temple, built in 1986, was made for the Bahai faith and is situated in the southern part of Delhi.

7.Red Fort
		It is a grand fort built by Shah Jahan after he shifted his capital from Agra to Delhi. The fort has two gates and two halls, viz. Diwan-e-am and Diwan-e-khas.

8.Golden Temple
		The Golden Temple of Amritsar was built during the time of the 5th guru of the Sikhs, Guru Arjun Singh. It is considered to be the holiest place for the Sikh religion. It also houses the seat of the supreme head of the Sikhs.

9.Sun Temple
		The Sun Temple of Konark, Orissa, was built in dedication of the Sun god. The temple is built of stones and includes thousands of pictures of daily life, gods and goddesses.

10.Ajanta Caves
		The Ajanta Caves of Maharashtra were discovered in the 19th century by officers of the British Raj. The caves narrate the life in the kingdoms during the period of 200 BC to 650 AD.
